Meaning and Marketing — The Links

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By Paul R Snell You know who you are and what you want and what it means or will mean for you to be FULLY ALIVE and you also know that you can change it it — your definitions. If you don’t, you will. Just get on the road. That’s all you have to to do. Begin the journey. It will be for you a joyous one, but also terrifying at times, not much different than a roller coaster. You will find your way. I AM is with you. And the power of I AM is in you, if you want to access I AM. And of course you do. So let’s get it done. Let’s create Links from highest to lowest. No. 3 is your end and goal. It doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to another, but you belong there because you have I AM in you and you are a part of Being Itself. I AM adores you. You can count on that. You adore yourself, don’t you? If not, it may be because you do not know who or whatIS at the very core of your being. (3) IAM.com (2) YOUARE.com (1) YourHighestandYourBest.com The highest Domain above (3)belongs to another. It has been purchased a long time ago. Plato discovered the owner 500 years before Jesus. Moses discovered the owner 500 years before Plato. Einstein, though not a practicing Jew, was a frequent visitor in I AM’s palace. He knew he was welcome there always and made himself at home. Einstein was very daring. I AM loves Daring People, but S/HE urges them to be careful. The Giant is asleep, but S/HE always has one eye barely open so that S/HE can protect the Daring Person from disaster, not because S/HE is mean, selfish, or protective of HIS/HER property. Unlike most people, Einstein used his Imagination, and he also knew what he wanted. I AM was so impressed, S/HE gave it to him. This is what people still do in the near East. They know how to practice and honor hospitality. And Einstein, BEING hospitable himself, gave it to us… E=MCsquared.com This is a link to whatever YOU want it to be. I choose it as a link in service of the great I AM. What you do with it is your business. After all, it’s yours and I can’t take it away from you, nor can anyone else. It is a veritable gift from the great I AM, if you want it. This is whatIS in you and me both. I AM put it there. This is what it means to be created in the Image of God - the WILL and its power. This is the Goose that laid the Golden Eggs, if you want it to be. If you are a vegetarian, you may want your Eggs to be made out of pure spinach. If you are the typical Network Marketer, Gold will do. Whatever you want, whatever you will - IS. Do you believe this? If not, why not? Notice the Domains above. They represent a Trinity of Power. If they are linked, as they should be linked, when you click on one, you will arrive at the other. You may notice also - they arein count down mode. Are you? Domains (2) and (1) above represent YOU. You can isolate yourself from Domain (3) if you want to and go it on your own. I AM’s feelings will be hurt, but S/He will get over it. Will you? Why do you want to separate yourself from your true source of power? I AM is not the same as your own earthly father and mother, but they are — your earthly father and mother — the deck of cards I AM dealt you. Make the best of the deck of cards in your hands. In finding yourself, you will find both I AM, your earthly father and mother, your spouse, if you are one, and your own children, if you have any. YOU now have the opportunity to be a family, a true family. And there is power, vast power, in a family. This is or can be your Destiny. This Destiny can be represented as follows: theKingdomofIAM.com What we want to do now is to make the best of what we have and to become FULLY ALIVE, as much as possible, as Time and this earth will allow. The other will follow as our reward. But we do not have to wait for permission to take the initiative. It is in our power to do so now - if you want to, if you WILL. Do you? Here’s something we can do - if you want to. We might as well have some fun. Let’s fashion an Atomic Bomb - A Weapon of Mass Instruction and let’s use it to get you moving and to enlist your customers. Let’s blast our way into BEING and into becoming FULLY ALIVE. Let’s vaporize the obstacles that are all around us and in us, and let’s reach out to other people with the Good News that they have this very same power and possibility in themselves as well. Oh yes we can, if we want to. Do we want to? Of course we do! The Instruction Manual is next - Meaning and Marketing - The Trigger. Rest, Sleep, and Burn More Fat Fast

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By Rob Poulos In order to reap the benefits from the intense exercise I recommend to my Fat Burning Furnace students, you must get adequate rest. I cant stress this fact enough. In fact, rest is just as important, if not more important that the actual exercise. During the high intensity resistance exercise that my students perform, the muscles experience tiny injuries or tears. The bodys response is to adapt and repair, getting stronger and larger muscles, which of course leads to burning more fat and a leaner body. But this growth and repair process wont take place if the body is not allowed the time to do its job. Too often, people rush back into the gym, as many have been inundated with the more is better axiom when it comes to exercise. But if we dont get out of the bodys way and let it do its magic, we will experience poor results. We won’t burn fat like we want to, and we will just end up demotivated or possibly give up our efforts altogether. If you dont get enough rest or sleep, youll have a very difficult time building the fat-burning muscle that will transform your body. And youll also have a tough time burning fat off too! Thats why we cant work out too long or too often when using a sufficient intensity level. When giving the body an intense stimulus, such as proper weight training, you cant keep hammering it into the ground. If you did this, youd quickly over train your muscles and negate your bodys ability to recover from exercise. Your immune system could become so worn down in fact, that you might even get sickthis happened to me a few times in the past when I wasnt paying attention to getting adequate rest and sleep. And this repair and recover process doesnt happen overnight, it usually takes 2 days or more, So make sure to keep between 1-3 days of rest between your properly conducted resistance training workouts, or you will be short-circuiting your chances of success to burn fat and build lean, strong, muscle. Now that we know how important rest is to burning fat and building muscle, we also must understand the most important component of restotherwise know as sleep. Sleep is the ultimate recovery tool, and not only for recovery from exercise. Its a recovery tool from any stress you take in throughout the day. Whether its from family pressures, work issues, or finances, etc., increased stress can be dissolved by adequate sleep. And dont think you can burn fat maximally when youre over-stressed by other things in your life. A high stress level can shut down the effectiveness of your ability to burn fat, among other things. So make sure to get adequate sleep. Whats ideal? I would recommend no less than seven or more than nine hours. In fact, seven and half hours per night might be the perfect amount! Research has shown that we sleep in cycles of 90 minutes or so. It has been suggested that if we wake up too far before or after one of these 90 minute cycles, you will probably feel groggy for a good part of the day. So try the 5 90 minutes sleep cycles, or 7 and a half hoursyoull most likely wake up feeling well-rested and energized, and your fat burning furnace will show its appreciation, allowing you to burn more fat faster. Rudraksha Beads - For Health, Wealth & Spirituality

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

By Daniel Ho The Tears of Lord Shiva that are Rudraksha, are the original Vedic Beads of Power worn by the Yogis of India and the Himalayas for thousands of years to maintain health and to gain self empowerment and fearless life on their path to Enlightenment and Liberation. The Electromagnetic Properties of the Rudraksha Beads improve concentration, focus and mental stamina. Due to these same properties it was found that wearing these Beads around the heart reduced and controlled stress levels, blood pressure and hypertension resulting in the feeling of tranquility and calmness. Rudraksa Beads were found to be ideal for focused Meditation and other Spiritual Practices. It is remarkable to consider that natural beads of vegetable matter from the Rudraksh Tree affect the human neurophysiology as described in Vedic Literature however recent scientific research has again found Vedic knowledge to be correct A combined study to research the Biomedical Implications of Rudraksa was conducted with the Departments of Biochemistry, Electrical Engineering, Psychiatry, General Medicine and Psychology. This study proved and documented the powers and effects of Rudraksha Beads scientifically with reproducible results Research has proven that Rudraksh have powerful Electromagnetic, Paramagnetic and Inductive Properties that vary from the different Mukhis or facets (the different number of divisions found on the surface of each Bead). They also found that wearing or performing Japa with a particular Mukhi or set of Mukhis of the Rudraksa Beads created specific electrical impulses that are sent to the brain through the process of galvanic skin response stimulating certain brain centers that transfer information. In our experience we have seen the initial Rudraksa Effect triggered by the mere reading of the word Rudraksha in print or the physical sight or touch of a Rudraksha Bead. We have found this triggered memory affects men and women and children and runs throughout many populations in the world from 4 years of age in India to people in their 50s and older in the United States and Europe. When the Rudraksh is recognized by those who are wakening up to higher states of consciousness and remembering on higher levels there is an unexplained need experienced to have Rudraksha in their lives again. The Vedic Puranas also show there are more powerful Rudraksha Beads from 1 Mukhi to 21 Mukhi each capable of aligning our mind and the positive energies around us to specific aspects of health, happiness, spiritual fulfillment, prosperity, creativity, intuitive ability, material fulfillment, family harmony, attraction, self empowerment and fearless life. Basque Cuisine

Monday, January 28th, 2008

By Mike McDougall With its turbulent and rich history, the Basque region, in Spains north east, must be regarded as one of its most interesting. Once a separate kingdom but now absorbed into Spain, Basques are a still fiercely independent and proud race with their own language and cultural heritage. Certainly in culinary circles they have a lot to be proud of, the area is traditionally regarded as Spains finest for gastronomy and a seemingly endless production line of top chefs and Michelin stars have maintained the areas reputation as a gourmands dream. Food is engrained into the everyday fibre of Basque life and is a very serious business to most people in the region. The men are often members of gastronomic societies, steeped in tradition, who take it in turns to prepare huge feasts for the rest of the members. Women are generally not welcome to enter these culinary brotherhoods but they do get invited to come along on certain special occasions. Slightly archaic some would say but these practices have been going on for a long time. Like all good culinary areas, the Basques marry the traditions of sea and land. Probably more famous for its abundant fish, the hilly interiors of the region produce cheese (often made from Ewes milk such as Idazabal), green peas and mushrooms. The spring months see the sprouting of the regions most famous mushroom, the highly sort after and expensive Zizaks, a particular favourite in the Alava area of the region. A distinct lack of good pasture land in the region has traditionally driven up the price of livestock but the hilly hinterlands of the Basque region do produce a leaner, often tastier breed of sheep, cow or pig. Local meat specialities include txerri patak (pigs feet), the famous Morcilla (blood sausage) and Lengua a la Tolosana (calfs tongue) which is simmered in wine with tomatoes and onion. These dishes show that the Basques dont share the British and American squeamishness of using every part of the animal. With a long coastline across the bottom corner of the Bay of Biscay the region has a long tradition of seafaring and fishing. As youd expect, the Atlantic Oceans bounty is prevalent in a typical regional kitchen. The plentiful waters yield langoustines, hake, anchovies, tuna and squid to name but a few of the favourites. Angulas (juvenile eels, known as Elvers in English) are something of a delicacy and can fetch up to 250 per pound and the Chiporones (Baby squid) are regarded as some of the sweetest youll find anywhere. Favourite recipes include Merluza en Salsa Verde (Hake in green sauce), Marmitako (a classic fishermans stew made with tuna) and Bacalao al Pil-Pil (salt cod in a garlic sauce). If fine dining or just old fashioned good eating, are your thing then you could do a lot worse than a trip to the Basque country, indeed, its the perfect place for a culinary odyssey. San Sebastin is recognised as one of the worlds finest cities for foodies, whether its for the endless amount bars serving a limitless array of pintxos (the Basque word for tapas) or whether you want to sample some of the finest haute cuisine in Spain. Many have tried and failed to eat their way around this city but have had an amazing gastronomic journey in the process. The Basques even have the word txikiteo loosely translated as tapas spree, a sort of bar crawl where food, rather than alcohol, is the main concern (Im sure we Brits have been missing a trick somewhere along the line). For more formal dining there area boasts a lot of choice, there are no less than eight Michelin starred restaurants in or nearby the city and a host of others springing up around the rest of the Basque region. The most famous restaurant is undoubtedly Arzak, pretty much a permanent resident in the restaurant worldwide top 50 list. Head chef and charismatic leader of the Basque neuva cocina revolution, Juan Mari Arzak, epitomises all that is good about modern Basque cooking, combining the same fresh ingredients with a radical new spin. He is currenlty working to provide additional content for Babylon-idiomas, a Spanish language school with an excellent presence in Spain and Latin America. Tips on Using a Hair Iron

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

By Ofer Tirosh The hair iron is coming more and more popular. It is used by women of all ages and for various purposes. We have gathered a few tips and guideline by women who use or used hair iron or other products to straighten their hair. We strongly advise to read it before you start using hair iron or other hair straightening tool 1. Use the hair iron only after you have cleaned your hair. Actually, it can be dangerous to use it before you clean your hair because dirt or grease left in the hair will be cooked by the heat of the hair iron and the damage made is inevitable. 2. Do not iron your hair with a clothes iron. If you will use it without taking the necessary safety measures, your hair will singe. The singed hair can not be cut out or covered up. Use a hair iron produced for this purpose instead 3. A short straightening method using a hair flat iron : First dry your hair for about 15 minutes using a dryer, then continue drying your hair and at the same time comb it with your fingers. Comb it carefully so that you will get the curl out. Then, for a short time (no more than five minutes) use the hair iron at the ends of your hair. This is a proven and safe way to straighten and keep your hair shiny. 4. Following blowing dry your hair with heat, We advise you to switch to cold hair (Most products have this option). It makes your hair shiny and it is healthier for your hair. 5. Always use a brush while blowing dry your hair. It makes your hair straight and saves time. 6. Blow hair dry at night for a great and straight look in the next morning. 7. Try putting some gel after dividing your hair into three sections while blow drying your hair with a comb for straightening your hair. 911 Corp. executed an independent research to find the best hair irons. The Challenge of Brown Trout Fishing

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By Ken Austin Brown trout fishing can prove very challenging. This is due in part to the fact that brown trout are smart fish. They tend to feed at dusk or at night. They do put up a fight though and that can be a great challenge to the fisherman. But, because of the difficultly to catch the brown trout, this fish has not been a big time game fish. But, there is much to know about it anyway. The brown trout, or Salmo Trutta, is also known by other names including German brown trout, German trout, English brown trout, European brown trout or Brownies. The brown trout is generally a small fish. It ranges in length from 16 inches to about two feet. It weighs up to eight pounds. The coloring on this fish tends to be light brown on the backs and silvery on the sides and bottom. The brown trout is natively a European fish. In the waters of the Atlantic and even into western Asia is where they were originally found. They were introduced in the United States and Canada in 1883. They can now be found in most of the Canadian waters and the Great Lakes. The fish themselves seem to have had trouble being successful in the Canadian waters, but have been successful in Lake Michigan. When introduced there, they proved to be able to withstand intense degraded habitats that other trout could not survive in. The survival of the brown trout is due in part to the fact that they like to feed at night and therefore the adult has very few predators. In fact, its main predator is the human fisherman. The brown trout has been stocked in the Michigan Lake for years and has become an important part of the lake’s ecosystem. Brown trout fishing is very popular here. In many places, surf casting brown trout has become a popular sport. Can Symbian BREW Blackberry?

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sergey_Bocharov]Sergey Bocharov Perspectives of Wireless Marketing Wars Who will Be the Winner? According to the research held by analytics company Canalys the market of smart mobile devices in Europe, Near East and Africa grows more rapidly than market of mobile phones. Within the first half of 2005 9.6 million of smartphones and PDAs were sold compared to 3.6 million during the same period of the previous year. Such trend is observed worldwide almost 70 million full feature handsets are sold worldwide. According to analysts the two main processes in progress stipulate such growth at the moment. On the one hand, ordinary users interchange their old smartphones and PDAs to newer ones. On the other hand, there is an upsurge in interest in mobile E-mail and extended abilities of smart mobile devices from companies and corporations. Modern smart mobile systems are to be: always available (small sized / handy), always On (optimized memory usage, minimal battery use), extensible (new software can be added if necessary), affordable, and of various form factors. Moreover, a smart mobile device should combine the maximum of mobile technologies available at the moment: GPS, VoIP, Bluetooth, IrDa, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, mobile E-mail, support of HTTP protocol, MP3 etc. This is a vast domain for competition among manufacturers of operation systems for smartphones and PDAs. There are several very large players in this market: Symbian OS, BREW OS, Blackberry OS, Windows Mobile OS and Palm OS etc. Experts Area Ulf Morys, General Manager at Gameloft GmbH: - Symbian: more important in the future, but still niche market (Nokia market share ca. 33 % overall; not more than 1/3 of this Symbian phones & some other Symbian phones). Overall optimistic estimate: ca. 10 % of total newly sold phone base. - BlackBerry: interesting for business / productivity applications; no mass market. - WindowsCE: difficult to judge. Microsoft will keep pushing its platform, but results were often unsatisfactory in the past; make sure that the partners can actually bill for applications delivered to this platform. Weve seen problems with this. - BREW: real mass market potential in US and Chinese market, not very relevant for European market. SYMBIAN SYMBIAN is a software licensing company that develops and supplies the advanced, open, standard operating system Symbian OS for data-enabled mobile phones and PDAs. As of September 2005 60 phones that run under Symbian OS from eight manufacturers are shipped worldwide and a further 56 phones from eleven manufacturers (among them Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, BenQ and Motorola) were in development. Symbian OS is an undisputed sales leader in Europe and has a strong market share in other countries. Currently Symbians market share is 55.9 per cent from worldwide sales (according to IDC analytics company), at that 82 per cent of devices were manufactured by Nokia (in whole since 2005 beginning there were sold approximately 34 million data enabled devices with Symbian OS on board). Experts Area Philip Solis, ABI Research senior analyst, author of the study Smartphones: The Market for Smartphones and Smartphone Operating Systems: Symbians chief advantages are that it is easy to build applications for, and that it has a large developer community. Disadvantages are that Symbian is primarily limited to Nokia handsets, and its market is concentrated in GSM-heavy regions. 19 of 60 devices with Symbian OS support WCDMA. By the way, smartphone Nokia 6680 is recognized a 3G world bestseller telephone. Key features of Symbian OS Rich suite of application engines the suite includes engines for contacts, schedule, messaging, browsing, utility and system control; OBEX for exchanging objects such as appointments (using vCalendar) and business cards (vCard); integrated APIs for data management, text, clipboard and graphics Browsing supports WAP 1.2.1 for mobile browsing Messaging multimedia messaging (MMS), enhanced messaging (EMS) and SMS; internet mail using POP3, IMAP4, SMTP and MHTML; attachments; fax Multimedia audio and video support for recording, playback and streaming; image conversion Graphics direct access to screen and keyboard for high performance; graphics accelerator API Communications protocols wide-area networking stacks including TCP/IP (dual mode IPv4/v6) and WAP, personal area networking support include infrared (IrDA), Bluetooth wireless technology and USB; support is also provided for multihoming capabilities and link layer Quality-of-Service (QoS) on GPRS/UMTS networks Mobile telephony Symbian OS is ready for the 3G market with support for GSM circuit switched voice and data (CSD and EDGE ECSD) and packet-based data (GPRS and EDGE EGPRS); CDMA circuit switched voice, data and packet-based data (IS-95, cdma2000 1x, and WCDMA); SIM, RUIM and UICC Toolkit; other standards can be implemented by licensees through extensible APIs of the telephony subsystem International support conforms to Unicode Standard version 3.0 Data synchronization over-the-air (OTA) synchronization support using SyncML; PC-based synchronization over serial, Bluetooth wireless technology, Infrared and USB; a PC Connectivity framework providing the ability to transfer files and synchronize PIM data Security full encryption and certificate management, secure protocols (HTTPS, WTLS and SSL and TLS), WIM framework and certificate-based application installation Developing for Symbian OS content development options include: C++, Java (J2ME) MIDP 2.0 and PersonalJava 1.1.1a (with JavaPhone 1.0 option), and WAP; tools are available for building C++ and Java applications and ROMs with support for on-target debugging User Inputs generic input mechanism supporting full keyboard, 0-9*# (numeric mobile phone keypad), voice, handwriting recognition and predictive text input. BREW BREW - Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless is a combination OS, application platform, and marketing system. BREW started with QUALCOMM-based CDMA chipsets and technology a vast market but BREW is independent of the wireless technology utilized by a particular handset or network and can support other wireless technologies. Ideally, BREW can work with any device, and Qualcomm is planning to port it to Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM). Qualcomm is trying to remove the gap between GSM and CDMA operators. As CDMA strengthened hand, the GSM lobby propped its own version of CDMA which they named WCDMA (Wideband CDMA). WCDMA has been launched in a group of countries (80 operators in 29 countries), and many more are gearing to launch it within this year, it is already successfully running in countries like Korea, Japan, China, India, Brazil and in some parts of North America. So far prevalent in the CDMA domain, BREW is gradually transiting to the GSM bastion of Europe as the continent’s operators introduce 3G services based on WCDMA (by the end of year 2005 the number of WCDMA networks users worldwide increased by 2,6 times compared to December 31, 2004 and reached 43,81 million users). Such a scenario could make Qualcomm a worldwide flag carrier in mobile market. In all, 40 commercial BREW device manufacturers (Audiovox, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, BenQ etc.) offer over 135 BREW-enabled devices as of January, 2006 according to Qualcomm. Almost 10% of all handsets shipped worldwide are BREW compatible and the number of application downloads (May 2005) exceeds 300 million. The success of BREW has been built on CDMA platforms of major mobile operators, including Verizon Wireless, China Unicom, Telstra and KDDI. Regardless of platform, BREW requires little memory (150KB), which makes BREW applications workable even on low-end phones. BREW provides basic capabilities for such advanced services as GPS, VoIP, Bluetooth 1.1, MP3 and MIDI support, video recording and playback, multimedia streaming, e-mail. The set of BREW services includes communication capabilities of TCP/UDP sockets, HTTP protocol support, SMS-MMS services, extended telephony capabilities. BREW supports several programming languages including Java, and via extensions BREW understands C/C++, interactive animation Flash and XML. The Wall Street Journal paralleled BREW with Microsoft Windows in wireless communication domain. Experts Area Victoria Alexandrova, Project Manager, PDA applications Department of QArea Company: Who I see a winner? Symbian, of course. It is convenient, applicable, multi functional and easy for understanding. However, if I were in the USA I definitely would rather use BlackBerry, since they provide top quality service. BLACKBERRY BLACKBERRY is a proprietary operating system, provided by RIM (Research in Motion, Canada), for the BlackBerry devices and BlackBerry enabled devices (BlackBerry email is already on a few handsets including Siemens SK65, Nokia 6820/6822, Motorola MPx220). BlackBerry is one of the leading wireless solutions, which allows users to stay connected with wireless access to email, corporate data, phone, web and organizer features. The true power of BlackBerry is mailbox integration. BlackBerry can integrate seamlessly with a user’s existing corporate or personal email account providing a wireless extension of their regular e-mailbox. The first BlackBerry was released in early 1999. The first BlackBerry with integrated cell phone, as well as the first BlackBerry sold outside of North America was released in 2001, using the European GSM/GPRS standard. RIM at the moment has a very dominant position in the mobile email market. BlackBerry is used worldwide, available from 95 wireless carriers in 40 countries. In November 2004, RIM announced the number of subscribers to the BlackBerry service to have reached two million, having doubled within ten months. Proceeding their steady growth, RIM announced an additional one million subscribers in May 2005, only six months after having reached two million. Experts Area Rudy de Waele, CEO at Random One (R1): The market is going more Symbian due to the strategic moves Symbian did with S60 platform, delivering Symbian to various devices of different brand manufacturers and Nokias latest partnership with Vodafone to increase the use of S60 as a standard software platform. Windows Mobile is going to catch up bit by bit, they have the market advantage in US and they can benefit from the Microsoft PC/Mobile synchronization that becomes more and more popular and is a crucial element for the success of mobile data services, but I dont see them getting quickly at the same level of Symbian on a global level, its going to take at least 4-5 years for them to catch-up, if ever they will… Meanwhile I dont see a bright future for Palm OS, neither BREW, though BREW is still quite strong in the market due to Qualcomm strength on the market. Nobody can compete with Symbian as of now, their competitors will have to come up with a stronger OS and that doesnt look obvious. At last, dont forget about Linux who has a lot of potential, specifically in mobile, I see a bright and growing future for them. No wonder, RIM manufactures a top notch device (with BlackBerry OS on board) that is secure, stable, and dominates market share with state and local government, the military, and with commercial corporations. In 2005 RIM was the first largest PDA supplier, and their technology BlackBerry occupied the second place among OS manufacturers giving Microsoft product the go-by. RIM develops its own software for its devices, using C++ and Java technology. Third party developers applications must be digitally signed, that guarantees the application authorship.Available services are: Wireless Email Service, Wireless Calendar Service, Wireless Internet (HTML and WAP formats) Services, Voice and SMS, Mobile Data Service, Attachment Service, Instant Messenger, GPS Service, Bluetooth etc. Diagram Year-on-year increment of devices shipments Note BREW includes CDMA and WCDMA chipsets The full feature handsets market is hard to predict, however almost all analysts predict steady and increasing growth of this market (which is observed at the moment). Each manufacturer aspires to create a common OS to globalize and standardize application development, distribution and management (as they say) to develop applications for all but not for each distinct device. Some people welcome such opportunity and some are bothered by possible monopolization and subsequent abuses in this domain. What is observed at the moment that each of the manufacturers had occupied a distinct characteristic niche, where he is successful, and already from there with mixed success tries to conquer the mobile wireless world. Experts Area Alexei Golovashov, Senior QA Engineer, QArea Group: BlackBerry? One of its main advantages is an advanced ergonomics both of the device itself and its software. The user interface, as of today, I suppose, is one of the best among developed for PDA devices. While its main disadvantage is absence of memory card. Absence of the latter means that it can not be used for other purposes, it is narrow directed. I use my Symbian as MP3 player and to watch movies. I will not be able to use BlackBerry for that even if I want to. BlackBerry is convenient only for business domain, I guess, while Symbian also can be used as a game platform, and its a rather essential part of users who use it that way. BREW, from my point of view, has no bright future at all. J2ME is that well-developed that nobody pays attention to BREW. Furthermore, all BREW applications are to be certified, that complicates their usage and distribution, - says Alexei Golovashov, QArea’s Senior QA Engineer. What then The whole world, and wireless market in particular, moves toward high speeds, multiple functions and extended business possibilities. 3G networks is the next inevitable stage of mobile market development. It provides plenty of capabilities both for business and entertainment, communication and data transfer, Internet access and mobile e-mailing. Most of 3G devices should combine all available 3G technologies to be competitive. This factor will also affect the development of devices and operating systems for them. As we can see, the mobile market requires a device that could fullest reveal the capabilities of next generation mobile networks 3G and 4G. These numbers are dramatic confirmation of 3G leading position: 173 Commercial 3G Operators in 75 Countries worldwide (as of February 02, 2006), over 228 million reported 3G CDMA subscribers (as of November 30, 2005), 826 models of 3G devices worldwide. The industry standard for 3G wireless networks consists of 5 operating modes three of them are based on CDMA technology: CDMA2000, WCDMA (UMTS) and TD-SCDMA. In this light BREW OS has a great opportunity to become a leader, though Nokia 6680 under Symbian OS is a 3G world bestseller telephone. The services by 3G carriers are quite actual already 80% of British mobile users are ready to pay for mobile TV service, nothing to say about GPS, high-speed packet data access and high quality voice services. Still large companies, financial giants, transnational corporations and government institutions adhere to the tried technologies they use BlackBerry undisputed leader in enterprise mobile solutions for mobile professionals and seek no alternative for it. However, if You still want an alternative for You BlackBerry You should be set for paying a pretty penny of some $500 for a new device and a new connection and it is not easy at all to find an equal substitution. And let us dont forget that more players like Windows Mobile OS and Linux OS are on their way and hit their stride. Table Annual global sales gain and market share of each OSNote BREW OS is not included in the table OS vendor 2004 % share 2005 % shareSymbian 14,365,850 61.2% 34,000,000 53,27Linux 6,380,160 27.2% 9,300,000 14,57Palm Source 1,210,090 5.2% 2,200,000 3,45Microsoft 1,119,610 4.8% 14,000,000 21,94RIM 135,180 0.6% 4,000,000 6,27Others 277,520 1.2% 322,000 0,5Total 23,488,410 63,822,000 Undoubtedly, theres still a long way to go: Symbian powered nearly 34 million devices last year, more than double what Microsoft was able to ship, but the gap is narrowing. Microsoft is preparing their new mobile operating system Crossbow which is to replace Windows Mobile 5.0 launched in May 2005. Crossbow will have both Push Email and built in Internet Pager, thus Crossbow will provoke competition to BlackBerry OS. Microsoft aspires to get over Symbian and BB at a time and we know how this usually results. New product will take time to be tested to make sure it runs smoothly in operators networks. After all, will operators agree to update their software and servers for new applications to run properly? MS provided an adequate tool set for the developers to develop software for their platform. In many ways they are helping to open up software innovation on devices. While developers for Symbian OS quite often complain of its being bad documented and too many OS versions. Microsofts long legacy includes an understanding of the Developer and providing Developers tools. Symbian is a newcomer. Still, we shouldnt forget about the power of open source: Why would a Developer want to restrict themselves into a platform with a proprietary software code? Some experts consider that just the developer support is going to be key in who wins in the consumer market place. Much also depends on marketing and promotion: Symbian’s operating system is used in many top-end business phones today, because of its support for features such as PIM, voice-conferencing, push email and Web access. Nokia phone stands for world recognized brand and image phone and it does pay dividends. To have Nokias smartphone is almost the same as to drive Mercedes. The potential of growing markets should also be considered: the demand for mobile phones in India, China, Eastern Europe and Africa is not a new phenomenon. Just in time enter a growing market and you can lead the race (Industry analysts forecast that 80% of the next billion mobile phone customers will come from emerging markets). This is a niche market, all around. We say Europe we mean Symbian, we say USA we mean Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and BREW. BREW is limited to CDMA markets (US and Chinese markets), Blackberry is closely tied to business and corporate clients, Symbian is prevailing mainly in Europe: it turns out they have nothing to brew. I hope none of them comes to dominate, since that is a recipe for stagnation; the 3 equally balanced would be perfect for fair competition and product development. We can not provide adequate predictions for someone’s success or failure. It will be just a forecast. All is left is to guess who to place stake on http://www.qarea.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Sergey_Bocharov http://EzineArticles.com/?Can-Symbian-BREW-Blackberry?&id=292608 viagra coral calcium adipex betting slot online gambling buy viagra online in the uk viagra for sale without a prescription viagra cialis no prescription required

Beware of Hidden Clauses

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Paul_Pratt]Paul Pratt Terms of a mortgage are all the factors of the loan that a borrower agrees to before the lender is willing to issue the loan. There are five main terms of a mortgage: the loan amount, the interest rate charged, the fees charged, the length of time before the mortgage is due, and the payment schedule. One of the ways they profit from lending to you is through the interest they charge against the amount you borrow. Interest Rate: An interest rate is a percentage charged to the balance of your loan. Lenders are willing to lend you money because, by doing so, they make a profit. Index: An index is a moving, economic indicator that an interest rate is tied to. Most indexes are tied to U.S. Treasury securities. If the index goes up, so does the interest rate. Margin: A margin is a premium that lenders usually add to the index to determine the interest rate for your loan. Rate cap: A rate cap limits the amount the interest rate can increase. Most ARMs have two types of rate caps: periodic and aggregate. A periodic rate cap limits the amount the rate can increase at any one time. An aggregate rate cap limits the amount the rate can increase over the entire life of the loan. Payment cap: A payment cap protects the borrower from unaffordable individual payments. The payment cap sets a maximum amount for payments. If the rate increases but the payment cap prevents the borrower’s payment from increasing accordingly, the rate could result in negative amortization. Adjustment period: An adjustment period establishes how often the rate may be changed. For example, the adjustment period may be monthly, quarterly or annually. Conversion option: A conversion option permits the borrower to convert from an adjustable-rate mortgage to a fixed-rate loan at certain intervals during the life of the loan. An interest rate for an adjustable rate mortgage typically starts off significantly lower than a fixed rate mortgage. Because of this, an ARM can be a great way to finance a short-hold property. Adjustable rates and fixed rates can be combined when obtaining a mortgage. You can take out a mortgage that is fixed for part of the loan term and adjustable for the rest. The shorter the loan term is at a fixed interest rate, the lower the interest rate is to begin with. There are other factors that may increase the interest rate a loan officer quotes you from the par rate. The par rate is the going rate that all lenders are offering for a specific type of loan. If one loan officer quotes you a higher rate than another for the same loan, then he has increased your rate in order to make a larger commission. The interest rate that your loan officer quotes you is negotiable down to the par rate. Be sure to find out what the par rate is so you have a point of reference. This one point could potentially save you thousands by reducing your interest rate. However, there are increases to the interest rate that are required by the lender if the borrower is going on stated income, the property is non-owner occupied, the property has more than one unit or if the borrower’s credit posed a greater risk to the lender. Your loan officer is unable to negotiate these increases down. Most mortgage and deed-of-trust loans are amortized loans. That is, they are paid off slowly, over time, in equal payments. Regular periodic payments are made over a term of years and are referred to as a payment schedule.: An amortized loan payment partially pays off both principal and interest. Each payment is applied first to the interest owed; the balance of the payment is then applied to the principal amount. At the end of the loan term, if payments were made as scheduled, the entire loan balance and interest will have been paid in full unless a negative amortization was used. An amortization chart can tell you what your monthly payments would be for a certain loan amount, with a certain interest rate, for a certain length of term. You don’t want to call your lender to find out what the mortgage payment would be for every property you are analyzing. Get familiar with how to use an amortization table. You should purchase a small pocket book amortization table, available at most book stores, so that you will have it accessible at all times. We have also provided a mortgage calculator located in the My Tools section above. This calculator is a quick and easy way to calculate amortized mortgaged payments. A negative amortization occurs when the payment requirement is not large enough to cover all of the interest that has accrued. Instead of the loan balance decreasing, it increases. These loans are not highly recommended by our investors. They are usually used when a borrower is unable to qualify for the mortgage payments of a typical amortized mortgage. The lender will use a negative amortization loan to decrease the borrower’s payments and get them qualified. A straight loan or term loan, more commonly referred to as an interest-only loan, essentially divides the loan into two amounts to be paid off separately. The borrower makes periodic payments, usually monthly, of only interest followed by the payment of the principal in full at the end of the term. If you are not knocking down any of the principal and you end up having to pay one lump sum the amount you started with at the end of the term then how could this form of loan payment benefit anyone? Interest-only loans can greatly benefit the right person and the right investment. You can usually get a significantly lower interest rate with this type of loan. Due to the lower rate and the payments reduced to only the interest, your monthly payments are significantly less than an amortized loan or other payment plans. This can greatly increase an investor’s cash flow on a property. True, you are not gaining equity by knocking off principal each month, but you may still be gaining equity due to appreciation. As for the enormous balance due at the end of the term, you don’t need to have that ready in your bank account; you can pay it off with a new loan by refinancing your property. There are times that this loan will not benefit you. Building A Winter Greenhouse

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

By Amanda Bregman If your passion for gardening eats most of your available time, then it is advisable that you set up a greenhouse which will keep all of your treasured possessions. The months of the winter time is mostly the hate season of a gardener like you. It is during these winter months when the flowers that you’ve painstakingly grown will be covered with ice and will be set to death by the cold breeze. You feel really flabbergasted by such scenario. However, building a greenhouse will give you peace of mind. If your garden space is mostly bare to the top, your most perfect resort is the setting up of a greenhouse. A winter greenhouse will be your solitude in times like these. Now with a greenhouse, it is as if you are enjoying a long duration of springtime. People who’ve got the deep passion for gardening treats the activity as some sort of finding tranquility during the very turbulent moments of their lives. The greenhouse seems to shun away the worries from them. You may have the same feeling of course. Building a greenhouse in your backyard means setting up a comfortable place that will shield you and your beloved plants from the harsh and cold winter months. Any moment that you step into your haven, you will feel rejuvenated as if you are transcended into a realm filled with serenity and pleasure. Mind you, the scent of fresh flowers can do this for you. The Selection to be Made If you are thinking of creating the greenhouse in your backyard space, you’ve got a lot of options to look into. There are endless choices that will face you. A small yet cozy winter greenhouse may occupy a space that is supplied with the most favorable sunlight. You can design the size and shape of your winter greenhouse as well. But if you think that your winter greenhouse will only be called for to serve its purpose on these said months, then you might as well settle for a portable greenhouse. This can thus be set up only on the winter months and kept right after another season comes in. The Use of the Greenhouse In a greenhouse, almost any plant can be grown provided that the plants are accustomed to the climate in your place. Gardeners like you may prefer to grow about a large number of fruits, flowers, and vegetables. It is really dependent on your own choice. You may opt to move these plants outside when the weather becomes warm enough. This motion may invite the agents of pollination. But during winter, you may use the artificial pollinations. Winter greenhouse needs particular attention especially in the areas of controlling the humidity, heat, light, diseases, and pests inside the place. The Material to Employ The greenhouse plastic films are usually used by many because the design of these materials is able to withstand the harsh penetration of the ultraviolet rays from the sun, the wind, and the chilly temperature of the winter months. The most commonly utilized plastic film is the six millimeter four year film which serves its purpose well since it is thick, quite heavy, and may last up to four years or more. There is also another type the “over wintering” plastic film which is best to use during winter. As you see, gardening can be a lot of fun if you only know the precautions that you must take. Winter greenhouse can save you from a lot of troubles. Just be sure that you employ the proper materials and steps in nurturing your plants.
